Surya mandir(sun temple) deo,is situated in Aurangabad district of Bihar. It is one of the famous temples of bihar. There many stories behind the formation of this temple.According to the priests of this temple it is said that, it was constructed by god in one night while on the other hand it is said that it was constructed by one king whose palace is just beside this temple. According to the story,the king had some skin disease which was not being cured even after taking so much of medicines.Then one day he was just travelling through and he saw a stagnant water. There he washed his body parts with that water.Then a miracle happaned and he was cured.After then he had a dream that he should build a sun temple over there.And then he constructed the temple.The statue of god "sun" is present here in three forms.This is really a nice place to visit.
